Version 1.0 of 26/11/2024
OLYZON.TV offers advertisers a video ad contextualization service to optimize the delivery of video ads of various ad formats within a stream video content broadcast on CTV (Connected TV).
This Privacy Policy describes the processing of data of individuals who view these video ads and describes the use of tags or tracers by OLYZON.TV and/or by various intermediary technical partners to provide OLYZON.TV services to advertisers and/or CTV publishers.
OLYZON.TV is a service operated by OLYZON SAS, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 953 836 913, with registered office at 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris.
OLYZON.TV analyzes the video streams broadcast by a partner publisher, to determine the most relevant moments of those videos (contextual segments) in order to deliver appropriate advertising content, according to the advertising format chosen by the advertiser. No personal information is collected during this analysis and contextual segment creation phase.
A technical service provider of CTV, called SSAI (Server Side Ad Insertion), will then encapsulate and deliver the video ad format within the video at the precise moment when that ad will be most opportune, in affinity with the advertiser's brand, according to the contextual segment previously identified by OLYZON.TV. At this stage, data is processed to route the advertisement and the video to the channel the visitor is watching: a tag collects the visitor's IP address. This technical routing is carried out by an advertising service provider, an "AdServer", which acts as a data controller.
A tag (technically an instruction issued by sending server-side macros containing URLs) and a pixel (technically a small file that informs the server on which it is hosted that the user has visited a page), will be placed on the ad impression broadcast on the publisher's channel during this phase, for the purpose of analyzing ad performance: in order to measure the effectiveness of the video advertising campaign viewed by the user, a pixel (a small image) will be sent within the ad to enable the number of ad impressions to be counted. The macro will transmit URLs that, through the pixels, will enable an advertising performance provider to (i) analyze the user's behavior in relation to that advertisement, and in particular whether the user clicked on the ad (ii) and to combat advertising fraud. In this case, the IP address, the IDFA or other unique identifier, the CTV channel viewed and the time, will be collected by OLYZON.TV, in its capacity as data controller, and processed by the advertising performance (and anti-fraud) service providers, in their capacity as subcontractors or data processors. The collection of IP addresses may permit to identify the same user on different media (mobile, TV, etc.). There may be a match with data previously held by the technical service provider or the advertiser may occur, but this match is beyond the control of OLYZON.TV's control. Advertisers may also include pixels from their own advertising performance analytics providers.
OLYZON collects or allows its technical service providers or those authorized by the publisher or advertiser to collect the following information:
